Refund Policy

1. Our principle
You pay for a publish-ready submission package. If we fail to deliver one, you should not be charged for it. Most refunds are automatic.
2. Automatic refunds (no action needed)
A credit is automatically refunded to your balance when a formatting run fails because:
- the number-preservation contract would be breached — i.e. a numeric value in your manuscript could not be preserved byte-for-byte during reformatting; or
- the build pipeline errors before producing a package.
In these cases no package is delivered and the credit is returned immediately. You can re-run after addressing the issue (for number-preservation, you may re-run with the override flag to receive the package with the difference recorded in the audit).
3. Purchased credit packs
Unused purchased credits (single or five-pack) are refundable within 24 hours of purchase, provided they have not been consumed. Request via the billing page or by email. Refunds are issued to your original payment method through Razorpay (INR) or Stripe (USD) and typically settle in 3–5 business days.
4. MCP Pro subscription
You may cancel the MCP Pro subscription at any time; it remains active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew thereafter. We do not pro-rate partial months. If a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days for a review.
5. Free-tier credits
Free signup, launch-bonus, and Bring-Your-Own-LLM trial credits carry no monetary value and are not refundable in cash, but a failed run that consumed one is restored to your balance under the automatic-refund rule above.
6. How to request a refund
Use the "Request refund" action on the billing page for an eligible payment, or email bd@thegraipe.com with your account email and the payment date. We respond within 2 business days.
