Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of graipe.ai ("graipe", "we", "us"), operated by DTRAS-G Solutions Private Limited. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the service through the web application or the Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

graipe reformats research manuscripts to a target journal's submission requirements and assembles a submission package (reformatted manuscript, title page, cover letter, ethics and conflict-of-interest statements, data-availability statement, reporting checklist, and a number-preservation audit), derived from that journal's published author instructions.

graipe is a formatting and preparation tool. It does not guarantee acceptance, peer-review outcome, or editorial decision by any journal. You remain the author and are solely responsible for the scientific content, accuracy, originality, and ethics of your manuscript.

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and any MCP API keys you issue. You may not share, resell, or sublicense your access without our written consent.

One manuscript formatting run consumes one credit. Credits are provided through: a one-time free credit on signup; an additional launch-bonus credit for eligible pre-launch waitlist members; purchased credit packs (single or five-pack); a limited Bring-Your-Own-LLM trial on the MCP surface; and the MCP Pro subscription, which permits unlimited manuscripts while you supply your own large-language-model access (via MCP sampling or your own API key).

Prices are shown at checkout in INR (billed via Razorpay) or USD (billed via Stripe). Applicable taxes are handled as stated at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to:

• upload content you do not have the right to submit;
• attempt to circumvent credit metering, rate limits, or access controls;
• use the service to produce fraudulent, plagiarised, or fabricated research;
• probe, scrape, or overload the service or its infrastructure.

You retain all rights to your manuscripts and to the output packages graipe produces for you. We retain all rights to the graipe software, journal specification database, and formatting engine. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service.

The service is provided "as is". While the number-preservation contract is designed to ensure no numeric value in your manuscript is altered during reformatting, you are responsible for reviewing the final package before submission. We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, graipe's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including rejected submissions or lost research time.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.
